About this race
The Friedrichsgaber 24-Stunden Lauf is a 24-hour road race held in Norderstedt, Germany. It takes place at the Waldstadion in the Friedrichsgabe area. Participants run laps on a short asphalt course for the entire duration, with the winner determined by the total distance covered.
The lap measures approximately 1.76 km and is flat, featuring about 3 meters of elevation gain per circuit. The course follows Lawaetzstraße from the Waldstadion towards Föhrenkamp and returns, avoiding road crossings to simplify pacing for runners and their support crews. A team competition is part of the event, alongside activities for spectators and runners during breaks. This is the inaugural edition and does not have an IAU label or ranking eligibility.
