10. Hunsrück-Trail

The Hunsrück-Trail begins in Mörschied, western Germany, leading runners through trails in Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park. This trail running event offers four distances: 25 km, 13 km, 7 km, and a 3 km route suitable for beginners seeking a brief introduction to the area. Organized by TuS 1889 Mörschied e.V., the event is part of the ITRA National League, accepting ITRA membership. The Hunsrück region connects to the Saar-Hunsrück-Steig, a 410 km hiking path from Perl on the Mosel to Boppard on the Rhine, with an option via Trier. This long-distance trail is predominantly natural surface, with minimal asphalt, reflecting the race's forest and path setting.
