About this race
Brunnenfestlauf is a Friday evening village-road race in Reute, starting and finishing on the Dorfplatz. The main event is an officially measured 10 km on paved local streets, allowing performances to count for ranking lists. Timing is managed by raceresult, individual results use DLV age categories, and a team classification is available for groups of three men or three women.
The evening includes more than just the 10 km. Bambini run approximately 500 m, U10 and U12 children run 1 km, U14 and U16 youth run 1.5 km, and school relay teams of four each cover a short lap of roughly 500 m. U18 and U20 runners can participate in the 10 km or opt for a shorter race of about 5 km. Nordic walkers and the Jedermannslauf offer options for less competitive participants. Showers and changing rooms are located in the Durlesbachhalle, food and drink are served on the village square, and awards are also presented there, with the youngest runners honored shortly after finishing and the main-race awards presented later in the evening.
