About this race
Helmut Schmidt University hosts the 24-Stunden-Solidaritätslauf, a 24-hour charity run operating under the motto “Doing good together.” The event takes place at the University of the Federal Armed Forces Hamburg. Employees from various departments trade their keyboards for running shoes for the duration of the event.
One team from the automation technology department, comprising nine employees, completed the 12 km course. The run occurred under sunny skies with ample support from spectators. A casual gathering with bratwurst and beverages followed the race. The event emphasizes teamwork; participants expressed pride in their collective effort and commitment to each other, indicating their intention to participate again.
