About this race

The KSC BBBank Schlossparklauf is a summer running event in Karlsruhe, Germany, organized by Karlsruher SC. It starts and finishes near the BBBank Wildpark football stadium, sending runners toward Karlsruhe Palace, connecting the race to both the club and the castle's park. The main race consists of approximately three laps of a 3.25 km loop, with the youth and student race completing one lap. The distances are approximate, making it a local race day rather than a certified course for personal bests. The start has been by the “Naked Man” statue before the Wildpark's south stand, and the finish is inside the stadium area before the west stand. The event attracts club runners, casual adults, students, youth runners, and very young children via a Bambini run. Recent editions have limited the main field to 1,100 runners and the youth and student race to 300, with a new company partner run accommodating up to 800 more. Over 700 runners participated after its return, establishing a strong community atmosphere without becoming a massive city marathon.
