3. Herzowerke-Trail 2026

The HerzoWerke-Trail begins and ends at the TSH sports grounds in Herzogenaurach, leading participants into the Dohnwald forest surrounding the town. This local trail running event, organized by the Laufsport department of Turnerschaft Herzogenaurach, offers various distances: a 0.5 km Bambini-Trail, 2 km Kids-Trail, 4 km Youth-Trail, 8 km Speed-Trail, and a 16 km option that can be run in one or two loops. The Dohnwald section of the course is self-supported, meaning no drinks or aid stations are available in the forest; refreshments are provided only at the start and finish areas. Participants must carry their own water and food. Poles are permitted, emphasizing the event's nature as a true trail race rather than a road race relocated to trails.
