About this race
The Waldlauf auf den Hinsbecker Höhen is a cross-country run held in the woods near Hinsbeck, organized by VfL Hinsbeck. It features forest racing with 5k and 10k options. A recent running attracted about 300 participants following a break.
The field is largely local and club-affiliated, with OSC Waldniel contributing over 40 runners. In the 5k, Henry Krumm led from the beginning, finishing in 17:18, and Nina Windhausen was the first woman at 22:42. The 10k saw a closer finish at the front, as Darius Spychala won in 36:43, five seconds before Lucas Vehling, and Rebecca Bein took the women's lead in 43:33. Race Result timing was also trialed at the event and functioned without issue.
