40. Adventslauf 2026

Adventslauf is a small pre-Christmas running event in the Vreden area, located at Köckelwick 32 while construction affects Ellewick. The program includes a 1.5 km children’s run for U8 to U14 runners in the early afternoon, followed by a 5 km race for U12 athletes through seniors. Both races consist of two laps, allowing families and spectators to follow the action easily without much movement. The finish is inside the Schützenhalle, the same location for race number distribution and post-race water. Children receive additional attention: early registrants get a surprise gift, and all participating children can enter the tombola by placing their race number in the box after finishing. Timing is by net time, with results and certificates available online. Late entries are accepted on race day for a small cash fee.
