About this race
The Appelhülsen Village Run, held in late September in Appelhülsen, Germany’s Münsterland region, is a running and walking event. It caters to families and club runners alike, offering a 666 m Bambini run, a 1.2 km student race, 5 km and 10 km runs, and a 5 km Nordic Walking option on an officially measured course.
The route winds through Appelhülsen, a Westphalian rural setting, not a large city. Water stations are positioned every 2.5 km. Finishers receive non-alcoholic beer, and the event maintains a local gathering atmosphere with coffee, cake, drinks, and snacks available for spectators and participants.
