7. Trainingslauf Bottwartal-Marathon 2026

At 9:00 AM, runners gather at Steppi/Kreisverkehr in Steinheim an der Murr for a free summer training run connected to the Bottwartal-Marathon. This event functions more as a supported group long run for individuals training for the Bottwartal-Marathon or another autumn objective, rather than a distinct race. Pre-registration is not required; participants can simply arrive and join. The course traces the Bottwartal near Steinheim, winding through vineyards and small villages. Runners divide into five pace groups, ranging from approximately 5:00 to 7:00 min/km. Groups 1 through 4 will cover 21 km, while the slowest group will complete 14 km. Group leaders and experienced pacers accompany participants, offering pacing guidance and ensuring the run benefits faster runners, club athletes, and those developing their fitness.
