About this race
After Work Run Bad Homburg sends office teams straight from work to a five-kilometer run around the Kronenhof in Bad Homburg. The summer company race is organized by the City of Bad Homburg and Bad Homburger Turngemeinde 1846 e. V., with the Kronenhof serving as both start and finish. Around 2,500 to 2,800 runners usually join, and the format is simple: race the clock, jog it with colleagues, or walk the course for the fun of being part of the evening.
The field comes mainly from Bad Homburg companies and institutions, though outside companies can also enter, and private individuals may be accepted after speaking with the organizer. It is built as a Firmenlauf, so workplace teams are the center of the event, with colleagues using it for fitness, team time, and a bit of friendly comparison over who is fastest after a day at the desk. The low entry fee and short distance make it approachable for first-timers as well as regular runners.
