About this race
The Ainringer Crosslauf is a local cross-country running event held in Ainring, Bavaria. The races take place in the Ainringer Moos and around the Eschlberg area. It typically concludes the local running season and is the final event in the Euregio Two-Countries Running Cup. The program features a main cross-country race, along with children's and school races. Distances are approximately 5 km and 2.65 km, though some editions have used a main course of about 5.66 km.
The course leads participants through the Ainringer Moos. The start and finish are located on Schwimmbadstraße, with the cross-country start point at Eschlberg. SC Ainring organizes the event, and registration is managed via the club's website. The award ceremony takes place at the Haus der Kultur. The run is traditionally known as the Edith Püschner Memorial Run. Despite its local status, it attracts strong regional competitors and once recorded a field of 164 finishers in challenging conditions of snow, sun, and cold.
