Altmühl-Jura Halbmarathon 2026

The Altmühl-Jura Half Marathon is an annual road running event in Greding, a town in Middle Franconia, Bavaria, located within the Naturpark Altmühltal. The primary event is a half marathon of 21.0975 kilometers, with 5 km and 10 km races also offered. It is organized as a community Volkslauf by TSV Greding and the City of Greding under DLV rules. The half marathon begins at the TSV Greding sports center, following a four-lap course with a turnaround point, primarily on roads and paved bike paths. Shorter races are available for those not wishing to run the full distance. The half marathon can also be run as a four-person relay, with each participant covering approximately 5.3 kilometers. The event includes races for children and students, attracting a diverse field from local children and school-age runners to club athletes, relay teams, and adults participating in either the shorter races or the full half marathon.
