Büscherl Trail 2026

The Büscherl Trail is a small annual trail event in Falkenfels, located in the Falkensteiner Vorwald on the edge of the Bavarian Forest. SV Falkenfels organizes the event, offering runners and walkers several options: a 17 km trail run, a 9 km trail run, an 8 km Nordic Walking route, and 2 km and 1 km races for children. The event typically takes place in July, with registration opening in mid-April. The terrain is genuinely hilly, not simply a park run on dirt paths. The 17 km route involves approximately 600 meters of climbing, and the shorter 9 km trail has around 300 meters of ascent. Even the beginner option requires genuine effort. The children’s races also include climbing, with about 65 meters on the 2 km course and 20 meters on the 1 km course.
