Berger Adventslauf 2026

The Berger Adventslauf is a late-autumn road running event held in Berge, Lower Saxony. The main race covers 10 kilometers with approximately 60 meters of elevation gain. Shorter options include 6 km, 2 km, and 300-meter races, accommodating adult runners, school-age participants, and Bambini starters. This event is part of the Sparkassen Cup and Staas-Junior Cup, typically drawing between 300 and 500 participants. The course is characterized as rolling, with all races concluding at Am Sonnenberg 6 in Berge. The children's races; a past Bambini race saw 32 participants, and the youngest finishers received a small Advent surprise. Additionally, a relaxed 45-minute friendship run is offered in various pace groups, without timing, certificates, or competition. The cup award ceremony, followed by coffee and cake, contributes to a local-club atmosphere.
