Bergzeitfahren Altmühltalcup 2026

The Bergzeitfahren Altmühltalcup is a German cycling series featuring four hill time trials within the Altmühl region. It supports the regional racing scene, with participants competing individually against the clock instead of in a mass start. The series commences in Hausen with a climb organized by TSV Greding, and includes locations like Schernfeld in Bavaria and Windischhausen, near Treuchtlingen. The races are brief, uphill contests where pacing, climbing ability, and maximum effort without drafting determine the outcome. One course at Obereichstätt measures just 1.58 km but ascends 140 meters, presenting a steep challenge from the beginning. SV Marienstein Radsport/Triathlon organizes the Schernfeld road time trial. The cup is in its early stages, with its second edition scheduled to begin in May.
