Biberacher Herbstwaldlauf 2026

Biberacher Herbstwaldlauf is a small autumn forest run in Biberach an der Riss, based at the Burrenwald parking lot. TG Biberach 1847 e.V. organizes it, and runners normally choose between 5 km and 10 km. It is a low-key race day setup: there is no advance entry, so people sign up on site, and registration stays open on race day. The course uses the Burrenwald area rather than a stadium, which fits the race's name: Herbstwaldlauf means autumn forest run. The event has been running since at least 2011, with one cancelled edition in 2020. The entry fee is unusually cheap at 4 euros, and it still includes finish-line refreshments plus a certificate, which runners can collect later or receive by email. The field sounds local and familiar, with repeat runners coming back year after year and meeting people they already know at the start.
