3rides Gravel Winterberg is a gravel ride weekend in Winterberg held in July, offering three distance options: 100, 150, or 200 kilometers. It is designed for riders seeking a challenging off-road day without competitive pressure, with approximately 75% of each route off paved surfaces. The climbing is substantial at all distances: the 100 km route features 2,200 meters of elevation gain, the 150 km route has 3,600 meters, and the 200 km route totals 4,900 meters. Riders navigate using a provided GPX track on their own GPS device in an "unsupported light" format. This approach maintains a self-guided character while offering organizer support. Food and drink are available along the route and at the finish. Technical assistance is provided at the start and finish, with the finish area offering secure bike parking and a bike cleaning station. The participant package includes a water bottle, a finisher shirt, a medal, a start number, a downloadable certificate, and Sportograf photo service.
