The Bottroper Ultralauf Festival, or BUF, is a timed ultra running event held annually in late August in Bottrop, Germany. The main event is a 24-hour race, complemented by 6-hour races and relay options for both distances, allowing participants to focus on individual mileage or team collaboration. Adler Langlauf Bottrop e.V. is the organizing body, with RUNTIMING managing online registration and race timing. The 6-hour and 24-hour races have a history from previous editions, with the festival having completed its seventh running.
