Eltviller Familienlauf 2026

The Eltviller Familienlauf begins with the 500 m Bambini run in Eltville, with the mayor sounding the starting signal for the youngest participants. This September running and walking event in the Rheingau features short races for children, a 6 km Piffche route for less experienced runners and walkers, and a 10 km Hauptlauf for all age groups. The course follows paved streets alongside the Rhine, goes past the swimming pool, and winds through the old town alleys of Eltville. Most of the old town section consists of flat cobblestones, with a single short uphill section on round cobblestones where a wheelchair ramp is available. Participants with disabilities are explicitly welcomed, and runners may enter as individuals or in teams.
