Freckenhorster Herbstmanöver CTF 2026

The Freckenhorster Herbstmanöver CTF is an off-road cycling tour starting at the Von-Galen-Schule school hall, located at Von-Ketteler-Straße 38 in Warendorf. As a Country Touren Fahrt, the objective is a marked ride through the countryside, not a timed competition. Participants can begin between 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM, with registration available from 8:30 AM. Two route options are offered: 31 or 51 kilometers. The event welcomes trekking bikes, mountain bikes, and gravel bikes, and helmet use is required. The route crosses the forests in and around Warendorf-Freckenhorst, avoiding regular road traffic whenever feasible. This event appeals to cyclists who appreciate nature as well as competitive club riders, as there is no imposed time limit. Children and teenagers can participate without charge, while adult entry fees vary based on whether they hold a rating card, are BDR members, or are registering as recreational riders. Control points will offer complimentary refreshments, and the school center will provide post-ride amenities including coffee, tea, cake, and bratwurst.
