Future Run - Ausbildung in Bewegung 2026

Future Run - Ausbildung in Bewegung is a 5 km or 7 km run in Buxtehude, starting from the sports facility of VSV Hedendorf-Neukloster. It is built around apprenticeships rather than pure racing: trainees, companies, trainers, teachers, entrepreneurs, and local sports fans are invited to run together. The motto means “Training in Motion,” and the event links exercise with the visibility of dual vocational training. The day is organized as a shared company and training-community outing, with check-in, a welcome, a group photo, and a joint warm-up before the start. Group entries are possible, which fits the focus on team spirit inside training companies. The race is marking its 10th anniversary, and it was renamed FUTURE RUN so more people could join in and draw attention to vocational training. After the finish, there is an award ceremony followed by a barbecue.
