Gersthofen läuft (Spendenlauf)

Gersthofen läuft is a charity run held in Gersthofen, Bavaria. Participants jog or walk short 0.4 km laps, with each lap contributing to fundraising. The run starts at the DAV-/Naturfreundegelände at 13:00. Participation is based on a free donation rather than a fixed entry fee. Sponsors commit to a per-lap amount for a runner or pledge a total donation beforehand. Funds raised benefit Stiftung Hilfe in Not Gersthofen, assisting local residents experiencing homelessness. The event is organized by four local associations: Kolpingsfamilie Gersthofen, Gersthofer Party-Freunde, NaturFreunde Gersthofen, and DAV Sektion Gersthofen, with municipal backing. The day also features food, beverages, an opening address by the mayor, and a post-run gathering with the band leckomio.
