HYROX Berlin takes place at Tempelhof Airport in Berlin each May, featuring the global HYROX fitness-racing format. The race is straightforward to grasp but demanding to complete: participants run 1 kilometer, then tackle a workout station, repeating this sequence eight times for a total of 8 kilometers and 8 workouts. This Berlin event spans eight days and marks the final race of the season for the DACH region.
The course adheres to HYROX’s standard race protocol, meaning athletes in Berlin encounter the same run-workout structure found in other HYROX events worldwide. Approximately 5,000 athletes participate in Berlin annually, with various categories catering to different fitness levels. Elite competitors can earn a spot in the HYROX World Championships, while many others attend as regular gym attendees, newcomers, or fitness enthusiasts seeking to challenge themselves in a timed indoor competition.
