The 150 km route is a road bike route for ambitious amateur cyclists. Our 150 km loop is the ideal route for ambitious amateur cyclists who want to experience an unforgettable day on the road bike together. With around 1,600 meters of altitude, a varied tour through the most beautiful landscapes of the Bamberg district awaits you – with smooth climbs, fast descents, and wonderful views. The tour is ridden at a sporty pace of approx. 26–28 km/h (depending on the route profile and group), making it ideal for experienced road cyclists who want to take on a sporting challenge and enjoy the fascination of road cycling. The 220 km route is a challenging road bike route for real challenges! The 220 km route is the king stage of the GIRO Landkreis Bamberg and is aimed at experienced road cyclists with excellent endurance. Over around 220 kilometers and approx. 2,300 meters of altitude, challenging climbs, fast sections, and varied landscapes await you. Anyone tackling this tour should have a very good basic level of fitness. The ride is in two performance groups: The Hobby group rides at an average speed of approx. 28–30 km/h, the Elite group at an average of approx. 30-32 km/h. This way, every ambitious road cyclist will find the right group for their performance level. A route for everyone who wants to push their limits and experience real road cycling enjoyment at the highest level.
