Kap Arkona Lauf Rügen

The Kap Arkona Lauf Rügen is a small running event held on the northern part of Rügen, Germany's largest island, located off the Baltic coast of Vorpommern. It features two primary distances: a 10 km run commencing at Kap Arkona near Putgarten, and a half marathon beginning on the beach at Fischweg in Breege-Juliusruh. This race is connected to Altenkirchen in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and typically attracts a few hundred participants, usually between 301 and 500 runners. The location defines much of the event's character. Rügen, a 926 km² island, has bays, lagoons, peninsulas, headlands, and low hills, offering a different backdrop than a typical big-city road race.
