About this race
The Teuto-Ride begins at the Windmöller & Hölscher Stadium in Lengerich, with participants departing between 8:00 and 10:00. This RTF cycling event crosses the Tecklenburger Land, operating under Bund Deutscher Radfahrer regulations and forming part of the Teuto Münsterland Trophy. Distances available are 45 km, 78 km, 118 km, or 153 km, accommodating rides from shorter club outings to extended endurance challenges.
The 45 km, 78 km, and 118 km courses are marked, but the 153 km route requires a GPS track for navigation as it is not fully signposted. This event takes place on public roads; therefore, all riders must adhere to German traffic laws, participate at their own risk, and wear a helmet. Pre-registering online offers a lower entry fee, BDR members receive a discount, and on-site registration incurs an additional charge. Organizers also issue a practical course advisory: oak processionary caterpillars might be encountered along the route, posing a potential issue for those with allergies.
