Rhader Silvesterlauf 2026

Rhader Silvesterlauf is a New Year's Eve running event in Dorsten-Rhade, beginning and ending at Risthaus Sportpark on Dillenweg. SSV Rhade organizes it for those wishing to conclude the running year with a race, offering categories for regular runners, walkers, schoolchildren, and younger children. The primary running distances are 11.4 km and 5.5 km. Additionally, there is a 7.5 km walking event, a 1.7 km school run, and a Bambini run for the youngest participants. The courses primarily follow paved farm roads, giving the event a distinct local character rather than a typical city-race atmosphere. Participants receive cold and hot beverages, a timed certificate available for online printing, and essential facilities like toilets, showers, and complimentary parking. This race has been a fixture on the Rhade calendar for 17 years.
