Runfellows vorWald Ultra Trail 2026

The Runfellows vorWald Ultra Trail begins and ends at Riverside Ranch in Reichenbach, offering three autumn trail distances in the Bavarian Forest: 16.8 km, 33.8 km, and 63.3 km. The 16.8 km route has 350 m of elevation gain, the 33.8 km route has 720 m, and the 63.3 km ultra has 1,360 m of gain, allowing participants to select a challenging short trail day or a full ultra distance. The courses feature single-trails and pass by streams, rock formations, natural monuments, and castle ruins. The 63 km course is the most demanding, with technical sections and steep ascents that the organizer advises against for marathon first-timers. Hikers, walkers, speed-hikers, and trail runners participate together. Dogs are permitted on the course, and a portion of each entry fee supports Theo, an organization for animal-assisted therapy. RunFellows Laufbewerbe is the organizer, and the DUV database includes this event. Entry covers course refreshments, a pasta buffet, post-race catering, luggage storage, changing facilities, showers, a personalized bib, and a participant gift.
