Silvesterlauf Burggrumbach 2026

Silvesterlauf Burggrumbach is a relaxed New Year's Eve fun run starting from the VfR sports grounds on Seemuehlstrasse in Burggrumbach, a village a few kilometers from Wuerzburg. Participants can select from multiple distances, including a fun run and children's or youth options. The event does not use timekeeping, focusing instead on finishing the year outdoors and active. Beginners, returning runners, and experienced runners are welcome to proceed at their own pace. The routes traverse the countryside surrounding Burggrumbach, featuring rolling hills and open fields instead of an urban course. VfR Burggrumbach athletics organizes the run, and the day concludes at the VfR sports center post-finish. Showers are provided, and participants can remain for tea, punch, mulled wine, sausages, and homemade cake, making the post-run gathering of the event.
