Tharandter-Wald-Lauf 2026

The Tharandter-Wald-Lauf begins and ends at Waldbühne Hartheberg in Kurort Hartha, situated near Tharandt and Dresden. This forest running event takes place on paved paths within the Tharandter Wald, offering seven race choices ranging from a free 400 m Bambini run to a 30 km distance. The primary running distances featured are 5 km, 10 km, a half marathon, and 30 km, alongside a 10.5 km route for Nordic Walking. The longer races follow a loop course through the Tharandter Wald, a substantial enclosed forest area located on Saxony’s Hartheberg. The event accommodates a broad range of participants: younger runners have short Schülerlauf distances, adults can select from 5 km up to 30 km, walkers have a dedicated route, and the 30 km race is also available as a two-person Run & Bike team event in men’s, women’s, mixed, and family categories.
