About this race
The Tübinger RTF Zollernblick begins and ends at the gymnasium in Tübingen-Hirschau, taking place on a Sunday in early July. This road cycling tour offers five route options: a 78 km loop suitable for e-bikes and pedelecs, and four longer routes ranging from 87 km to 207 km. Climbs vary from 810 meters on the e-bike route to 2,800 meters on the Zollernkönig route, allowing participants to choose between a moderately hilly day or a very long, challenging ride with significant elevation gain.
All routes converge at a shared refreshment station at Realschule Bisingen, with food included in the registration fee. Participants receive sandwiches, fruit, Hefezopf, energy bars, water, tea, isotonic drinks, and juice. To minimize waste, riders are requested to bring and use their own water bottles, as the event avoids disposable cups. The route names clearly indicate their difficulty: Panorama-Runde, Hügelhelden, Gipfelstürmer, and Zollernkönig progressively increase in distance and elevation. Following the ride, participants gather in front of the gymnasium for a Hocketse featuring coffee, cake, and Rote Würste.
