Velten läuft …City! is a city run held in Velten, Brandenburg. The start and finish line are located on Rathausstraße, between the Stadtturnhalle and the Rathaus. The primary races utilize a flat 4 km loop. Participants can complete one lap for 4 km, two laps for 8 km, or three laps for 12 km. The 4 km distance is also open to walkers and Nordic walkers. The event schedule also features a 3 x 4 km relay, a 1.4 km race for students aged 6 to 11, and a 500 m Bambini run for children aged 3 to 7. This is a compact, local event typically attracting between 301 and 500 participants, with a recent field of 420 finishers. The student race separates girls and boys at the start. The relay race mandates at least one female participant. Electronic timing is used, and race numbers display participants' names. All finishers are awarded medals, and completion certificates are available for download post-race. The event is part of the EMB-Energie-Cup Oberhavel.
