Vierlanden-Triathlon 2026

The Vierlanden-Triathlon takes place in Hamburg’s Vierlanden area in June, featuring swimming, cycling, and running races for individuals and relay teams. It attracts approximately 1,300 individual starters and 40 relays from over 10 nations, alongside about 1,000 spectators along the course and at the triathlon stadium. The event includes youth races, a sprint distance, and short and middle-distance races, with the middle distance also serving as a state championship. The sprint consists of a 500 m swim, 20 km bike, and 5 km run; the short distance involves a 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, and 10 km run; and the middle distance covers 2 km, 80 km, and 21 km. The course is situated around Marschländer Elblounge, Hofschläger Weg, Ochsenwerder Landstraße, and Elversweg, grounding the race in the Vierlanden district. Tri-Bandits/TSG Bergedorf organize the event, which maintains a local feel despite hosting one of the largest triathlon fields between the Harz and Rügen. A Kids Challenge is included for families, and club athletes, age-groupers, youth racers, relay teams, and competitive front-runners all compete in the same environment.
