12th Asta Maries 24 timers løb
Saturday, September 12, 2026 · Copenhagen S, Denmark
Distances
24km
About this race
Asta Maries 24 timers løb begins next to Sortedamssøen at Østerbrogade 19 in Copenhagen, with all distances starting at 9:00 a.m. This event is a timed ultra, not a point-to-point race. Participants can choose 6, 12, or 24 hours, or a 100 km race. Solo runners may enter the main formats, and the timed races also accommodate teams of two or four. The minimum age is 16 for the 6-hour relay and 18 for all other races.
The course is a DAF-measured 1,910.25 m loop around Sortedam Lake, meaning the event centers on repeated laps within the city. For the 12-hour, 24-hour, and 100 km races, runners change direction every six hours, altering the rhythm on a highly repetitive course. The route is marked but remains open to other traffic. The aid station offers cola, chips, energy products, sports drink, water, fruit, hot blueberry soup, coffee, and tea. Hot food is served at 6:00 p.m. Participants must provide their own cup, a deep plate, and a spoon for the meal. A tent is available for bags and toilets, but there are no showers. A small charitable contribution is included: DKK 50 from each entry supports TUBA.
