Børnecancerløbet - København is a charity run and walk held in Fælledparken, Copenhagen Ø, utilizing a marked 1-kilometer loop. Participants are given 12 hours to complete any distance they choose, from a single lap to a 10K, a leisurely walk, or an ultrarunner challenge. The entry fee is 175 DKK, with all proceeds supporting Børnecancerfonden, the Danish Children’s Cancer Foundation. The loop design is central to the event: each lap contributes to distance, funds raised, and the motivation to complete “just one more lap,” as stated by the organizers. The initial lap is walked alongside children from Riget, and GLS Denmark contributes 10 DKK for every completed lap.
