About this race
Denmark's Coldest Triathlon is an event inspired by the creator's experience completing a 4:18:4 triathlon (400m swim, 18km bike, 4km run) wearing minimal clothing. The event aims to be the coldest triathlon in Denmark, emphasizing the challenge of the cold. Participants must adhere to strict clothing rules: only shorts (not neoprene) for swimming, continuing with the same shorts for cycling and running. Mandatory equipment for cycling includes gloves, helmet, shoes, and socks (below ankle height). Running requires only shoes, socks (below ankle height), and optional gloves. The event is for participants aged 18 and over, focusing on the experience of the cold rather than strict triathlon rules. Mandatory helmet and glove usage is enforced.
