About this race
Lundhags EventyrHike Tisvilde is a 15-25 km guided hike in Tisvilde, Denmark. The route crosses open coast, dune paths, forest tracks, and beach. It is not a speed race; the focus is a planned day on foot. Arrows in the landscape and a roadbook assist participants in following the route and learning about the area. Walkers can select a shorter or longer option during the hike, allowing the day to be around 15 km or extend to 25 km.
The route passes through Tisvilde Hegn, a forest planted to prevent drifting sand, featuring tall pine woods, twisted coastal trees, and dense spruce plantations. Along the way, it includes Asserbo Slotsruin, a prehistoric village site, burial mounds, the hills Frøbjerg, Frederikshøj, and Råbjerg, wide beaches, narrow dune footpaths, and trails along the coastal slope. It is intended for individuals seeking a shared nature walk over a competitive event. The organizers provide a chef-prepared lunch, snacks, coffee, and tea.
