Parforcetrailløbet

Parforcetrailløbet is a small autumn trail race in Gribskov, held the day before a Sunday race and a headlamp night run. The day event offers two distances: a long route of about 20-22 km and a short route of about 10-11 km. It is a timed race with prizes for the fastest women and men on both distances. The field is capped at 150 runners, keeping it closer to a club trail day than a large mass event. The routes are designed as long loops without repeated sections, using narrow paths, off-road stretches, and marked off-trail parts instead of simple out-and-back courses. Runners receive a homemade medal and digital timing. The event is organized by a small group of trail runners from Løbeklubben Langgarverne. The night run is more low-key, without chip timing, allowing a smaller group to run the long route by headlamp. After the day race, the cake and coffee are as important as the running: the organizers provide a large cake selection, including their Snickers cake.
