Rebild Kalkmineløb is a Danish fun run held at Rebildcentret, located by the Thingbæk Limestone Mines near Skørping in North Jutland. The event takes place in the natural surroundings of Rebild National Park, offering a 3 km stroller-friendly path alongside longer options of 5 km, 10.5 km, and a half marathon. The two longest races utilize timing chips, while the shorter distances are designed for walkers, families, and casual runners.
Each route passes through the illuminated Thingbæk limestone mines, a distinctive element of the race. Beyond the mines, the course navigates hilly terrain in Rebild Bakker and Rold Forest, combining wooded sections with open areas. Participants begin in waves, with the longest distances starting first. Aid stations provide refreshments along the route. A race bib grants full-day admission to Rebildcentret, encouraging many participants to remain afterward, relaxing on blankets in the finish area's green spaces.
