Rebild Kalkmineløb begins and ends at Rebildcentret near Thingbæk Limestone Mines, with all routes guiding participants through the illuminated mines. This yearly trail run in North Jutland offers varied distances suitable for different outings: a 3 km route for strollers, a 5 km route, a 10.5 km route, and a half marathon. Timing chips are used for the two longer races, ensuring the shorter options remain accessible for families and casual participants. The course crosses the natural landscape surrounding Rebild National Park, Rebild Bakker, Rold Forest, and the mine area. Expect undulating terrain, woodland paths, and open stretches, differing from a flat road race. Participants start in waves, with the longest distances beginning first.
