Swimrun Øresund 2026

Swim By Night 2026 is a relay swimming event taking place during Aarhus Festuge. Teams will swim 4 x 500 meters in the bay at dusk. The 500-meter course is situated in the bay below the Lighthouse on Aarhus Ø. The event focuses on fun, with prizes awarded to the best-dressed teams. Prior to the race, participants can enjoy views of the bay and city from the top floor of the Lighthouse building. Food and beverages will be available for purchase along the waterfront. The race is a 4x500m mixed relay with an entry fee of 600 DKK. Participants must be able to swim 500 meters, and a tow float is mandatory. Wetsuits are strongly recommended. The minimum age for participation is 15 years. Lifeguards on stand-up paddleboards will be present to ensure safety.
