Sydkystløbet

Sydkystløbet is a coastal running event held in the beach park between Greve and Ishøj, south of Copenhagen. The start is located on Skovvej in Ishøj Municipality. The race takes place in October and attracts approximately 1,500 participants competing in four distances: a half marathon, 10 km, 5 km, and 4.2 km. The half marathon course follows a long loop around six lakes and passes four harbors. The 10 km route circles the Arken museum area and crosses the adjacent natural landscape. Greve Trim is the organizing club, and the event is popular, having sold out annually since 2019. A notable feature is the aid stations, which the organizers consider among the finest in Denmark.
