Antxintxika Lasterketa 2026

The Antxintxika Lasterketa is a 10 km road race held between Soraluze and Bergara in Gipuzkoa. The route is advertised as 10 kilometers but is not officially homologated. It typically takes place in early November with a 17:00 start, functioning as a popular local race rather than an elite-only event. Many runners use it as a final test a week before the B/SS race, particularly athletes and everyday runners from the Alto Deba region. The course begins in Soraluze town center, descending to a wide paved bidegorri (bike path). This path follows a green route towards Osintxu, crossing the Deba River via a bridge. After a brief road segment, it rejoins the bidegorri for a mostly flat run with minor undulations. The course reaches the lower section of Bergara around the 7 km mark. From there, a corridor of spectators guides runners into the city center finish, providing more crowd energy to the final stretch than the quieter bike path. Recent participation has seen fields in the low hundreds, with classified runner totals around 294 and 367.
