Bestial Race - El Hierro 2026

Bestial Race El Hierro is an obstacle race on the Canary island of El Hierro, Spain, held at La Hoya del Morcillo in El Pinar. Runners select short, direct distances: 3 km, 6 km, or 10 km, with obstacles integrated into the course. The event resembles muddy challenge racing more than traditional trail running, blending sport, effort, and play within a natural environment. The format accommodates various racers. Élite and Starter categories have specific rules for obstacle completion, while General waves are more lenient and can be run solo, in pairs, or as teams. Bestial Race organizes the event with the Ayuntamiento de El Pinar and the Cabildo de El Hierro. The El Pinar edition receives support from European obstacle-sport associations. Recent editions have featured new obstacles and an expanded event area at La Hoya del Morcillo.
