Bocafoscant Night Trail 2026

The Bocafoscant Night Trail begins at 8 PM in La Guingueta d'Àneu, requiring headlamps for participants before they finish. This short mountain night race in Pallars Sobirà covers 11.111 kilometers in a loop with approximately 630 meters of elevation gain. It is organized by the mountain section of Espot Esquí Club Valls d'Àneu, in conjunction with Esport Femení Lleida and the Pallars town council, with the aim of promoting participation and increasing the visibility of women in sports. The course departs from La Guingueta d'Àneu, proceeds through Dorve, Lladorre, and Escalarre, and concludes back in La Guingueta d'Àneu. The majority of the ascent is concentrated in the initial two kilometers, presenting a challenging start despite the manageable overall distance. Aside from the first 500 meters and the final section on asphalt, runners navigate mostly on paths and trails, with the latter part of the race taking place entirely after dark. An estimated 150 participants are anticipated, fostering a community atmosphere characteristic of local mountain races rather than a large-scale event.
