Carrera de Empresas Valencia is a 10K race in Valencia organized for company teams and workplace groups. The concept is straightforward: employees run with colleagues, interact with individuals from other firms, and utilize the event as a less formal team outing compared to typical office activities. Participants are known as “Runnkers,” a unique term combining runners and workers. The race attracts a substantial number of participants, exceeding 10,500 entrants in one edition, and has seen both men’s and women’s 10K course records set. Alongside the race, organizers host business-and-sport events, such as the Jornada Runnker Deporte y Empresa at the University of Valencia’s Faculty of Economics, featuring discussions that connect elite sport, science, and workplace culture.
