Cross Trail El Portús 2026

Cross Trail El Portús is a 9K coastal trail race held at Camping El Portús, near Cartagena on Spain’s Costa Cálida. Club Deportivo Manzanicos de Cartagena organizes this event, which kicks off the Trail Running Festival Cartagena – Costa Cálida. It offers runners a short, challenging mountain-running test on paths overlooking the Cartagena shoreline. The course begins and ends within the camping grounds, utilizing local trails and coastal terrain instead of paved roads. It is suitable for both seasoned trail runners and newcomers to mountain running. Those seeking a more extensive weekend can participate in the Trail Sendero del Agua Galifa, a 16K race the following day, as part of the Desafío Trail Weekend Experience. Proceeds from the event contribute to environmental awareness and conservation efforts in the Sierra de la Muela, a significant natural area near Cartagena.
