Cursa de la Festa Major 2026

Cursa de la Festa Major is a 5 km evening race in Santa Perpetua, held in September as part of the town's Festa Major. It begins at 7:30 p.m. at Parc Central, returning to the same location to finish. The participant limit is 300 runners, maintaining its status as a local event. Club Esportiu Mogoda Trail and the town council are the organizers. Registration is managed via Championchip, with a modest entry fee that varies based on whether participants use their own timing chip or rent one. The race features six age categories: youth, seniors, and veteran groups at 35, 45, 55, and 65. Trophies are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers, and to the first runner in each category; prizes are not cumulative.
