Cursa de les Caves i Serralats 2026

The Cursa de les Caves i Serralats begins in Lavern, within Barcelona's Subirats region, leading participants into the Penedès hills. The primary event is a 17.5 km mountain race featuring approximately 700 m of elevation gain. This distance allows for a fast pace while still providing a challenging trail experience. The event also offers shorter Cursa de les Caves races and a walk-race option, with all events commencing around 9 a.m. Bib and chip collection is available before the start. The course navigates the terrain surrounding Lavern, avoiding a city-road circuit. Aid stations are positioned at approximately kilometers 4, 9, and 15, with additional support at the finish line. Serralats is part of Correm per la Terra, the Penedès mountain running league. The event attracts several hundred participants across its various distances, including 5 km, 10 km, and the 17.5 km trail race. The walk-race has been held concurrently with the mountain race for numerous editions, welcoming both hikers and runners seeking a timed competition.
